Back at Harbour and I missed GWR that I was going to get. So instead I’m catching Great British Railway service 450042 2T66 21:54 Portsmouth Harbour - Eastleigh. With Officer Wibble is the Guard for this service.

MrBeach Prem Sikka I can. Annual subsidies to British Rail before privatization were about £500 to £600 million p.a. In 2021 to 2023 it was about £14 billion p.a. Privatization was a huge rip-off.

I’m delighted that The Labour Party is taking action to fix unreliable rail services and start rebuilding Britain’s railways. SWR is the first line to be renationalised so Wandsworth Town and Putney stations will come under the new Great British Railways – a major step forward!

“in the light of British Rail’s proposals to build a new high speed rail line through Kent from the Channel Tunnel to London. As you may know, this is causing considerable concern in Kent given the potential environmental impact of a new line” lol
