Productive meeting this week with Minister Minoru Kiuchi. Building on last month's Economic 2+2 Dialogue, we discussed how to take forward strategic cooperation between the UK and Japan on international economic policy.

Great to meet Kazakhstan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alibek Kuantyrov. Today’s agreements on water infrastructure and agricultural cooperation will help UK businesses deliver on Kazakhstan’s ambitious development plans and encourage further cooperation.

Great to have been out spending a sunny Saturday on the doorsteps in Hamilton with Anas Sarwar and a big Scottish Labour team campaigning for our local by-election candidate Davy Russell for Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse. Scotland deserves better than the SNP’s record of failure in our schools & hospitals.
