Firstly, thank you Humza Yousaf for your service 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Being First Minister is an incredible honour and he has conducted himself properly over the past 13 months and not all those who have had the honour have done so. He was dealt a bad hand, made some mistakes but I wish him well.

The people of Scotland should choose the next FM, not SNP members.

Not a flattering comparison, but there are some parallels between Conservatives nationally & the SNP. Speaks to dangers of populism - blaming everything that's going wrong on an external foe (Westminster/EU) while proffering up a magical-thinking solution (independence/Brexit).

Lovely afternoon in East Kilbride listening to voters talk about their priorities with our brilliant Scottish Labour candidate Joani Reid.

The current MP defected to the Tories from the SNP and folk here are sick of the chaos. Joani will be a brilliant MP for EK and Strathaven.

This evening, I was out campaigning in Mossneuk. People want a serious, competent government to focus on the myriad of problems our country faces. Enough of this debacle. It’s time for change. 🌹
