#AllMetalMonday In 1150 the crown gave land to the priory of Farleigh in Monkton Farleigh which explains the names origins. After the monasteries dissolution by Henry VIII the land was given to Edward Seymour brother of King Henrys wife Jane Seymour. Chippenham Town Council Chippenham Museum

75th anniversary of 'The Third Man' released on this day in 1949. Shot on location in Vienna as well as Worton Hall & Shepperton Studios. Great use of lighting and shadows, not sure about the soundtrack though.
