Nonprofit partnerships don’t always have to be with orgs doing similar work. Consider high-visibility ways to bring attention to your mission like partnerships with policy leaders. educationsuperhighway.org/our-story/part…

I can't talk about the benefit of a finite goal enough. It was incredibly instrumental to our ability to avoid mission-creep.

COVID has both exposed and exacerbated the #digitaldivide. The good news is: we can close it. I’m thrilled to talk about bold solutions with Jeb Bush larryirving & J. Adelstein with Stefanie Sanford of College Board for ExcelinEd’s #EdPalooza next week: excelined.org/edpalooza/

Couldn't agree more. We have 10-15 M kids without home broadband. EducationSuperHighway has pivoted its work to connect these kids now that 99.7% of schools are connected.

The pandemic has made it clear that without broadband, American’s are shut out of economic security and opportunity. This morning, I was on CNN to talk about how President Biden’s infrastructure plan can close the digital divide. video.snapstream.net/Play/4oeTcWquR…

We ought not argue about what bringing affordable, high-speed internet to unserved and underserved communities will cost. What will it cost to the future of these communities if they don’t have access to modern education, health care, and employment? That's the real question.

Congress has taken a historic step to close the #broadbandaffordability gap, which is two-thirds of the #digitaldivide. We now need a bold public-private partnership to remove the barriers keeping low-income families offline. EducationSuperHighway has a plan: nohomeleftoffline.org

18 million households in the U.S. are offline because they cannot afford it. In addition to leveraging infrastructure bill and connectivity fund, ISPs must make it easier for people to sign up for their programs, says Evan Marwell. #ASUGSVSummit
