5 weeks and counting for Santander UK to accept my Power of Attorney application. Rejected my first attempt with no explanation and now appear to have lost my resubmitted paperwork. They’ve promised to get back to me in 5 days. Clowns.

Just spent an hour in Santander UK branch trying to open a fixed rate bond for my mum (POA). Leaving empty handed. This bank cannot possibly survive when so many challengers are so much better.
