The human body is incredibly resilient. You would be shocked at how sick a person can become and not die. Chronic illness is just that… chronic. The body adapts. It learns to cope with daily suffering. Your baseline shifts and your reality changes.

Disabled people deserve healthcare. Disabled people deserve housing. Disabled people deserve food. Disabled people deserve support. Our ability to work and produce should not determine our value. Disability is not a moral failing. Most people will experience it someday.
