Update: A Nationwide outage at e-gates has been resolved, according to Home Office. Airports including Heathrow Airport, London Gatwick LGW, 4N ManchesterAirport & others confirmed people were waiting hours in queues after UK Border Force turned to manual checks.

UK Border Force confirm a major IT problem has shut down e-gates at air and rail gates across the UK. Airports are trying to help passengers who are stuck in long queues awaiting manual checks. The Home Office have said they are “aware” of the problem.
