Ambulance service staff are going on strike again on Wednesday. While ambulances will still be available on these days, again, we need the public to support us to ensure they are available for people with life-threatening injuries and illnesses. nwas.nhs.uk/news/north-wes…

I wrote this letter to both Conor McGinn and Lisa Nandy MP to express what these strikes mean to me, my colleagues and our patients. I hope it explains the true emotions behind our rationale.

Final preparations being put in place today for the EAC selection event taking place at Preston this weekend. We’re very excited to be adding new EACs to our District’s team so we can continue to support our North West Ambulance Service colleagues as well as the events in Cumbria & Lancashire

It’s not often we manage to get most of the local leadership team together for a photo! But, what a fabulous day in Preston recruiting for our new St John Ambulance’s Operations Team volunteer Emergency Ambulance Crew. Some high quality candidates, amazing weather and great company!
