Taking Labour’s message to residents of Whitley Bay this evening. A warm welcome for the case for change but real anger that Rishi Sunak deserted D Day commemorations to return to campaign. As one person put it “Once again he puts his party before country”

What an effort from Alan Campbell MP who brought the energy from The Labour Party manifesto launch all the way here to Hexham 🏃💨 Huge enthusiasm on the doors for a changed Labour Party and a chance at changing the future here in Hexham by electing our first ever Labour MP!

Thanks to Kings Priory School for organising this afternoon’s hustings. Over 100 young people putting main party candidates thro their paces. They are the future of our country and why when July 4th comes people need to vote for change.

In school this week we have been learning about the forthcoming general election and the key differences between the political parties. On Wednesday, some of the prospective parliamentary candidates for the Tynemouth constituency came into school and were put on the hot spot.

How dare you be so arrogant Stanley Johnson by refusing to re-embark the plane thus forcing the captain to cancel the flight and leave 300+ passengers stranded. You selfish man

From Roker to Ryhope, Pallion to Hendon, Southwick to Hill View it’s been a busy few days out across Sunderland Central working for every vote. 🗳️

Fantastic eve of poll doorstep session - strong response from residents determined to deliver change tomorrow with their votes. Change will only happen if you vote for it - vote Labour 🗳️🌹

Truly well deserved. A recognition of a life spent in public service, first in teaching but latterly for the people of North Tyneside. What a record.
