🚨SHIELDING🚨 Prof Jean White CNO Wales Staff were expected to assess their own risk(!) CV or shielding staff were excluded from this because they expected them not to be deployed. She wasn't designated CEV, and there was no shielding for CV. Perhapa privilege played a role?

Don't get us wrong. We support protections for all Clinically Vulnerable people 💗. But, it is in stark contrast to frontline workers who were CV and dying at high rates, because they weren't protected. This was also from her statement.

CV people were also higher risk. As a CV person, she understands how that felt.

🌬 If you don't understand aerosol disease transmission - like most of those involved in Infection Prevention Control in the UK - you should read this evidence by Prof Prof. Clive Beggs who explains it very clearly. This should be required reading by ALL healthcare professionals.
