Sadly, probably our team’s last ever junior game against our good friends at Seaside…but also a relief! For ten years, we’ve played Seaside more than any other club. Many great games yet always sporting and friendly. Always a pleasure.

What a superb welcome from Milford United FC for our U16 WW Cup tie yesterday. Hospitality unsurpassed by anywhere we’ve been before. [Great, competitive match too] Enjoyed it so much that many of ours stayed to watch their senior team afterwards. What a brilliant club!

Oh no, we’ve heard the brilliant @SeasideCafe3 is closing down. First choice around for a great all day breakfast. Always a great follow up to an away match at Seaside or an excuse to just go there anyway.

Great day for our U13 girls as they were crowned Champions of their league. Fantastic achievement by our superb coach, Dean, and his team.

Great game. We were perhaps lucky to only be 1 down at half time but felt we had the better of the 2nd half until the late goal killed it. Enjoyable to have a competitive game that was sporting, respectful and with excellent officiating. Good luck in the final.

Absolutely delighted that our U14 Girls won the league at the weekend.

Whilst training yesterday, a U14 game (other clubs) was on the next pitch, reffed by a junior new ref. He faced personal foul abuse. Conducted himself excellently and gave red cards to both a player and coach for this. Well done to him but he shouldn’t face this.

Brilliant. What a superb team this lot are. Really hope they win the national final.

Delighted that our U13 Girls capped off an incredible season with victory in the cup final.

Such hard luck for Dafen Welfare CC today against a very good side. An incredible innings from Gary Phillips was the stand out performance. And what a way to get his century up with a six! Superb stuff.👏👏👏 Just a pity Dafen fell just short of chasing the score down.

What a day we had at CPD Taf Athletig. A superb club that were great hosts. Amazingly we managed a win but were on the back foot throughout. Couldn’t have complained if the result had been the other way. They were a brilliant, sporting team that played football the right way.

Some of the best referees that we’ve had have been women & girls. More officials are needed so be great if more signed up for this.

Yesterday we saId goodbye to one of the genuinely nicest people you could wish to meet. RIP Rehaan.
