It takes huge commitment & a fair bit of cash to achieve a doctorate but it’s worth it for the confidence & credibility it brings to our profession as well as to the SW Drs! I’d love to see more funding & support for SW doctorates.

Justin Webb on BBC Radio 4 Today just referred to the Tavistock Clinic ‘closing’. That is not accurate. It is the Gender Identity Clinic that is closing not the whole clinic. There is a great deal of excellent work taking place at Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and this will continue. Pls correct on air
