We came to Canada in 1969, but my parents opted to retained our Indian citizenship, until Indira Gandhi declared an Emergency in India in 1975. That was when we applied for Canadian citizenship. Dad didn't us want to be citizens of a place living under an Emergency. And now this.

One more interesting data on Canazuela. Canada created 450000 jobs between feb2020- June 2022. Out of these the 92% of jobs were created in public sector. 8% in private sector and small business lost net jobs during this period
