The little thing was just spiraling away, her screams of terror unable to be stopped. But, at the very least, she was able to clutch into the man’s hand. “I don’t wanna go to space !!!”

Once he pulled her close, Harmonia reached her little hands out to pull herself into his arms, worried that she would somehow be thrown into the air again. “N-No. I can’t control any of them. I didn’t know I could go so high up!”

There’s a panic in her little heart. She doesn’t know how to relax! She tries copying her mom and it’s not the same! “I don’t have a book! Or chocolate! How am I supposed to relax?!” Oh, the poor thing is panicking. “I. . . I snuck out.”

Often times this little one finds herself in situations like this and it never goes well. Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem to learn. “What’s that? Is it a big kid book? Are there pictures? “ She turned her head to look towards the cover of the book.

“He sounds like a hero.” Despite the hold around her, the little girl’s fists didn’t loosen their grip on the man’s suit. “Was she hurt bad? Is she okay? Did he find the bad guys?”

“She died? That’s so sad. . .” The little one looked up at the man. His words hit her little heart and, for some reason, all she could think about was her Mommy’s love. Could Loki be avenged? “Is she? Is she avenged?”

“Oh. . . He lost the one he loved! And then he went to avenge her and helped babies in the process. He’s a hero, but a sad one.” The girl loosed her hold on the man, and by some miracle, went a little limp. That’s helpful ! It means she’s not floating anymore. “I get down?”

When her little feet hit the ground, Prize stomped them for a few seconds to make sure she was actually on the floor. And she Smiled! “Thank you so much, Mister Story Teller! Mommy would have been worried if I couldn’t get down!”

Prize giggled happily. This man reminded her of her mommy with the bow! I’m return, she does a little curtsy for him. “Oh, no! Usually I accidentally make things go BOOM! Today is the first time I floated.” She squinted for a second after that revelation. “I’m a balloon.”

“I /know/! That’s why I can’t be a big kid, Yet! Cause I’m scary! Things go boom a lot! And, you know, not all balloons are dangerous! Just me! I’m a Boom Balloon!” She threw her arms into the air for emphasis, as if that’s what she needed. “Oh! Oh! Mister Seth! I’m Prize!”

It seems she’s going back and forth from excitable child to little lady in training. She shakes his hand with a happy giggle. “Boom Balloon is funny, isn’t it? Mommy would laugh.” The girl looked around excitedly. “She’s working. Mommy works a lot! So, I came here to play.”

There’s a pause. A pretty long pause. And now her eyes are focused on flowers. Look at how pretty they are! After a few long seconds, she tries to sneakily glance at the man. . . And then shakes her head. “No. . . I’m supposed to be with my aunties and their guards. . .”

Prize winced a bit, even covered her face as though that would shield her from the disappointment in his voice. “But, But, I don’t get to have fun with everyone else! And I can make bad guys go boom if they tried to take me!” If she knew how to do it on command — .

How does she explain that those watching over her are quite literally an army that she still manages to sneak away from? “I can go really quick to different places. . . And they don’t usually catch me no matter how good they are. Mommy always finds me, though.”

Prize doesn’t fight when her hands are moved away. She looks to the man down with an expression that’s a cross between sad and confused. “I have friends. . . But, they’re all older. None of the other kids are safe around me. . .”

Prize puffed out her lips into a pout. She didn’t believe places like that existed. “Where? Do they go boom too? What if I hurt them? I don’t want to hurt anyone. “

The girl giggled happily as she looked through the tinted lenses. She twirls around for a second and when she stops to look at him, Prize takes his hand immediately. “Okay! I can’t wait!”
