Around 15% of the UK workforce is self employed. No sick pay, benefits or paid holiday - and now no right to support from the government's "job retention scheme". PAYE workers could get 80% of wages, but self-employed get just £94 per week? Not fair. Not enough. RT if you agree!

The government's income protection scheme isn’t available to self-employed people, zero-hours contract workers or small businesses. People I’ve spoken to give themselves 2-4 weeks before they go under. Rishi Sunak, get a grip on this.

Rishi Sunak should say he will introduce a backdated scheme based on 80% of previous earnings for self employed/freelancers and order banks to extend free overdrafts in lieu of getting scheme up and running to take away anxiety and uncertainty from those who have lost all income

There are 4.8 million self-employed in the UK. We contribute £305 billion to the UK economy. We don't get sick pay, we don't get holiday pay. We do pay our taxes and PAYE. So why Rishi Sunak are we worth 80% LESS than those who are employed? Stop #CovidInequality - level us up.
