I don't hate this and would use it for current project if I had the time. Architects/Designers should, when/as possible, want to visualize how their design holds up in all possible weather conditions at all times of the day.

AncientsRback Stopped for a second to research the history of Berlin's Reichstag & site it stands upon (including the Raczyński Palace that preceded it). BTW the Reichstag was fully reconstructed & enhanced back in 1999, taking 7 years from proposal to completion. Show some respect...

Waken Minds 𓂀 That's the 2nd Columbia Club bldg in Indianapolis; rebuilt 1898. The original built 1889; the existing rebuilt 1925. All 3 on the same site: 121 Monument Circle. The picture below is Christ Church Cathedral at 125 Monument Circle next door, taken ca. 1859. Show some respect...

Because We Live Here 🇺🇸 It's on the list; but requires first establishing the United States as a Christian realm, then restoring Western Europe thereto (esp. Italy & France), & then collaborating with Eastern Europe (from Greece to Russia) as they have rightful claim of successorship & repossession.

LaurieWired Inevitably when it comes to generating pseudorandom numbers of which should not effect a pattern over the course of n→∞ events: one is always at the mercy of Statistical, Probability, and Number Theory.

Ashton Forbes this, by the way, visualizes the effective resolution to division by zero ⮕ vertical asymptote in direction/axis of the sign of the quotient. Such further relates to the question Kallisti.cash 🍏 asks and Ashton Forbes provides; particularly WRT [Alcubierre] warp drives.

The Aesthetic City Obviously only practical for places whose people and government have respect for themselves and appreciate their beautiful city; as to suffer zero tolerance for vagrancy, petty crime, public nuisance, and otherwise disruptions of the public peace & dignity.

Tartarian Archives As always, thx for citing the name/location of the building & date of photography. It well serves both the Tartaria & European Heritage fanboys; who I think both yearn for the same thing: our cities to look like this once more, and our peoples to be just as dignified & majestic.

Mark R. Brown, AICP, CNU for new developments: segregate all commuter & commercial traffic, parking & [un]loading to 'utilidors' immediately below street level built via cut-&-cover method, link them directly to main roads & highways, & restrict surface road vehicle use to emergencies & special events.

Manju "China is successful not because it’s left wing or right wing but because it’s Chinese." - That's perhaps the most profound yet succinct wisdom of Chinese civilization/history: throughout all of its troubles & glories, rebellions & dynasties: Chinese nationhood strongly persists.

AJAC THANK YOU. Too many Americans with more resources and influence than I could dream of are disgustingly defeatist bitches doomposting on X about defeat & decline. I'm meanwhile working with practically no budget to help Detroit become what it should be.

Dardan 🇦🇱 ADAM And this here is the most insightful post in the entire feed that I've seen. To quote Kanye West of all people: "No One Man Can Have All That Powah". Certainly not sustainably so. If anything: such defies & challenges Natural Law; and Natural Law ALWAYS wins.

Freedomain - with Stefan Molyneux, MA Generously incentivize & reward good & productive behavior. Mercilessly penalize & punish bad & destructive behavior. The streets of American cities will look as civilized, clean-cut, & dignified as this (if not more-so) within a decade or two:

_gabrielShapir0 Indeed; since in reality it's actually "simps who get really good at writing prompts to prepaid proprietary LLMs"; of whom are NOT the same as software dev's/eng's/arch's who get really good at designing & implementing all kinds of artificial intelligence realizations.

Steven Eiselen (@steveneiselen) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Miki I've never used LLMs for anything beyond reference if/as necessary; & less so snippets only when it makes no sense to learn-&-realize myself. As I've said since the 2010s: ML/AI should be used *with* one's workflow to enhance it, not *as* one's workflow to replace it.

I envision connecting our group of rebuilt rustbelt cities with American-Made, American-Sourced, P^3 Funded/Managed HSR networks; independent from Amtrak. Built on new rails supporting max speed where feasible. Convenient, efficient, safe, and without the hassle of airports.

Chicago might have USR, but Detroit has OCP. Ironically: both companies have programs to cybernetically restore badly injured city police officers; though both go about it completely differently - yet both with ultimately good endings!

Hayden It's called lobbying for a variance in the short term, lobbying for zoning code reform outright in the long term, and if that fails: Special Economic Zones. If there's a demand to build & occupy such properties: politicians & politics are typically the only problem & solution.
