This is pretty appalling. In April, the govt told these leaseholders their cladding bills would be covered by state funding. Then they withdrew that offer blaming an error. Now the residents face having to find around £20k each or risk losing their homes insidehousing.co.uk/news/salford-l…

One of highest bills I’ve seen. Come on Michael Gove , people can’t wait any longer. Pick up our idea for the Building Works Agency to assess, fix, fund and certify every affected block. #BuildingSafetyCrisis

Just asked #Southwark Council Leader if he'd support boycotting big developers who are refusing to remediate dangerous fire safety issues. Disappointed he refused to give commitment to #EndOurCladdingScandal despite thousands living in dangerous homes 💚

I’m 36. My wife is 41. Our kids 1 and 5. We’ve been in our #CladdingCrisis for 4 years. We’ve got at least 3 more ahead of us. I’ll be 39. My wife 44. My kids 4 and 8. Today, another lifeline failed us. We have one life. And it feels there is no hope. #EndOurCladdingScandal

5 years ago 72 people died because they were trapped in a government mandated death trap. 5 years later and we can’t forget their names. We must continue to fight for justice for them and their families. 💚💚✊🏾 #Justice4Grenfell

Channel 4 news -“most of the 500 buildings with flammable cladding have had it removed” I can with certainty say that is not the case. Conversations with many tenants and leaseholders still awaiting safe replacement of cladding.

My MP thinks things have almost been sorted with cladding. Explained our developer not signed pledge, RMCs still not covered, our huge bills on Insurance & waking watch still on our bill as is non cladding remediations. People with more properties have to pay. It’s not over! alajmi

Now can we make a drama about cladding & leasehold ? It seems we need these for anyone in this country to take real action.
