So well done Michael Gove Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities (NOT) your new laws have an immediate negative effect on leaseholders - another way for Freeholders to sweat their assets - you should be ashamed #endleasehold Lisa Nandy #endourcladdingscandal
rj #Parliament is voting in new acts increasing #Charges . Putting more onus on leaseholders … alleviating #Freeholders #Shareholders … of their #Responsibilities
The Building Safety Act adding more financial stress to innocent Leaseholders. If it’s not Banks, it’s Insurers as well as Freeholders and Managing Agents. The Conservatives Govt is giving them the tools to inflict further misery. Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities Michael Gove Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee
Amanda rj Michael Gove It seems like they genuinely don’t think through the practical impact of the legislation. e.g. H&S & green legislation - it’s good to have it in place, but they haven’t addressed where the money will come from. Govt don’t want to pay & neither do FHs so it gets passed onto LHs 🤷🏻♂️
Looking forward to seeing this Melissa York
I propose that there should be no more residential freeholders Residential Freehold Association BUT only after they have cleared up & paid for the cladding mess they made.
Don’t miss this! It’s a showdown between the Residential Landlords defending the confiscatory legal structure of Leaseholds vs Harry Scoffin arguing for its replacement with Commonhold, the system used around the world.
Mike Amesbury MP End Our Cladding Scandal Michael Gove A R M A (Now part of The Property Institute) Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee Is Labour committed to fixing this mess if/when it comes to power, Mike? And to holding those responsible accountable. This is a disaster for us leaseholders and for the housing market more generally. We need a party not dependent on property industry money to affect real change.
