Another thing that jumps out watching college tape is, outside of RPOs the “Quick Game” for most teams is undeveloped/under-utilized! I always felt Quick Game should be called 10-12 a game as drive starters, rhythm plays to get QB started or as 3rd & short calls! Build a package

Kids don’t care where you coached, who you coached or how many degrees you have. They just want a coach who truly cares about them & knows how to make learning the game a lot of fun! They absorb more & it’s so much more meaningful when they’re enjoying it than when they aren’t!

It goes by different names, but it's the same thing. Mental Toughness. Attitude. Courage. Grit. It's the inner strength to do what needs to be done.

One question I get is "What exercises help me jump higher?" My answer isn't complicated - squat, deadlift, hip thrust, & lunge variations are the foundation of good jump training. People forget that when done correctly these tried and true lifts also prepare you for the landing.

Do you want to build toughness? Start by getting 8+hrs of sleep, eating breakfast, being on time, being coachable, not skipping workouts & going to class. #tbt #stillrelevant

I know it gets talked about each year, as it should, but first thing recruiters have asked when they walk in the door: "Does he have good character?" Followed by: "How are his grades?" And then: "How hard does he work?" They can find talent. The qualities above are rare.

70% of the coaches that we saw the last two days ask for kids with 3.0 and 18. Academics matter and help open doors. C's kill your GPA, nothing lower than a B and you will put yourself on many radars. Better learn this fact early on young guys.

#Runners 🏃‍♀️🏃: Resistance training strengthens your connective tissues, evens out muscle imbalances, and cements proper movement patterns. The results: ⬆️ Running economy (same pace, less effort) ⬆️ Durability (withstand greater training volumes) ⬇️ Injuries!

D1 BBall players executing at elite level squatting heavy WITH chains during the week to improve physical strength?!? Unheard of... Want your players to peak at the right time you HAVE to train through the season AND post-season or let all those gains fade away. Simple Choice. x.com/coachalanbisho…
