Today we hosted a delegation from Embassy of the Netherlands in Uganda at our Kiryandongo office. They visited Bweyale settlement to see the progress of SRHR Phase 3. They were taken through activities in the various thematic areas with beneficiaries sharing how they interacted with the activities.
Yesterday we concluded a 2-day training for Sudanese urban refugees of Kawempe & Entebbe on peace-building. #Refugees are not passive recipients of aid, they are leaders & peace builders shaping safer, more cohesive communities. Yesterday we conducted a Peace Committee meeting in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement alongside Office of the Prime Minister - Uganda, Uganda Police Force, and the Senior Community Development Officer to address various ongoing conflicts. We continue to encourage dialogue, mutual respect & community-led solutions.
