We have Lost the dedicated & invaluable Eng. Osele Patrick, Acting Assistant Commissioner Bridges & Drainage Structures. His hard work & good character have left an imprint in the sector.

This afternoon I have led a delegation from Busitema University to the Ministry of Works & Transport to discuss how to operationalise a Cabinet Decision to Start the Uganda Railway Institute to be based at Busitema University .
Meeting was Chaired by the Ministry of Works & Transport Permanent Secretary Mr. Bageya Waiswa.
As part of the Multinational Lake Victoria Maritime Communications & Transport (MLVMCT)Project, the Ministry of Works & Transport Maritime department is currently constructing Search & Rescue Centers located at Zangebe, Panyimur, Kaiso, Kiyindi & Kaazi.
