Today, we joined young people at the #ThelujiRwenzoriFestival24 in the tree planting activity in Kasese. We love spending time with young people 🤗 and you know what we do best when we are around them 😜- engaging with them on issues to do with SRHR. #RightHereRightNow

“Prevalence: we have made more progress on people’s lives as many people are surviving. However, it is not an indicator that there is reduction of HIV Transmission. The entry tap is still bringing in more victims and that’s where we need more focus” Flavia NM #SRHR4All

"One of the characteristics of HIV prevalence is its heterogeneity across different locations. Some regions have a higher prevalence than others. The epidemic tends to be higher in urban areas than in rural areas" ~Daniel Byamukama #RightHereRightNow #GenerationGender

While there's progress in supporting those living with HIV, we need to stop new infections. We must rethink our approach and support young people better. — Olgah_Dee_Namukuza, SRHR Alliance Uganda Cc: Reach A Hand Uganda #SRHR4All

Young people must have a seat at the table. They're the most affected by HIV and should help shape solutions. It's time we listen and involve them in driving change. We must increase access to HIV services and address socio-economic drivers like poverty and transactional sex.
