Supported Teaching in School (STS) is key to ensuring that student teachers gain meaningful classroom experience during their off-campus teaching practice.

This week, four universities and Colleges of Education are writing STS handbooks to support student teachers to learn and get the most out of their STS experience.

Dr. Nana Gyamfi Adwabour, Director of CENDLOS joined us today at the NTC and Transforming Teaching, Education & Learning ICT Integration handbook for teaching and learning writing workshop. He took writers through what CENDLOS is doing to support blended learning

ICT Integration in Teaching and Learning Handbook Writing Workshop underway. The National Teaching Council National Teaching Council , with support from Transforming Teaching, Education & Learning, is organising a workshop to develop an ICT integration handbook.

The handbook will provide a step-by-step guide to tutors and teachers on how to use specific ICT tools for teaching and learning, giving practical examples that tutors and teachers can use in their classrooms.

The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission convened the 7th meeting of the National Implementation Support Team (NIST) this afternoon. The NIST provides a platform for stakeholders to discuss issues and ensure that the B.Ed. in Initial Teacher Education is working effectively.
