Today we launched the EOL candle …as a neutral way of identifying patients who transitioned to comfort care .The candle encourage staff members to modify their words, silence themselves, and reflect….it can be perceived as a symbol of tranquility & respect too ❤️

Student nurse, it's tough. But you must. Get the hours in, sit on the bin. Handover, no seats left. Assignment due, social life bereft Help with a wash, struggling for dosh, it's a test. Student nurse, you'll get through. Upload. Turnitin. Don't fret. Your best yet.

Many children & young people's #nursing students are female, but currently we have a 'bumper crop' of men - seven across all three years. We spoke with five of them about why they want to be C&YP nurses and the value men can bring to the profession. bit.ly/41bOCF2

30 years ago I started my registered nurse training. So I’ve been reflecting on the highs, lows, changes, opportunities, people, friendships & roles. I’ve continued to learn and grow throughout and have concluded it’s the best decision I ever made #RegisteredNurse #Nursing #NHS
