The need for food in #Gaza is desperate. Aid is the only lifeline. WFP stand ready to assist the entire population - we have the food, the capacity and the systems. We need access: more trucks allowed in daily, all entry points open, and safe routes to reach every community.

#Sudan: This is what being on the brink of starvation looks like. Families in El Fasher are eating animal fodder to survive. WFP Sudan is ready with trucks full of food assistance to send into El Fasher. We urgently need guarantees of safe passage.

World Food Programme Deputy Regional Dir Brian Landers and CD Gian Carlo Cirri paid a courtesy call to the U.S. Ambassador to Mali, H.E. Rachna Korhonen. They thanked 🇺🇸, WFP’s top donor, for its steadfast support and discussed the humanitarian situation in 🇲🇱 and ways to strengthen joint efforts.

#Yemen is on the edge. By September, 18M people will face crisis-level hunger or worse. Food prices are soaring, savings are gone, and families are skipping meals to survive. WFP and partners like KSrelief are stepping up but millions still face hunger daily.
