OK, Ryan T. Jenkins & I are thinking about getting our daughter a kitten for her seventh birthday. we are on the fence. we’ve had beloved pets before but the freedom, time, & money they take up—& how hard it is to lose them—makes me wonder if it’s really worth it. thoughts?

this morning I got visited by the snake I saved from a glue trap a few months back. I screamed a little then was like, “oh hey baby, enjoying the weather?” she’s so cute. good luck for the day.

27 weeks + 1 day sober & I couldn’t take a #soberselfie I liked to save my life. just one of those bad self-esteem days. so my daughter said she’d help. she told me to “look in love w your books.”

so here I am, still sober, in love w my books (& her):
