Dear standing stones enthusiasts, I would love your help! I’m doing some research into how people interact with stones, weird experiences at the sites, stories old and new, rites of passage undertaken - do you have something interesting to share, could I interview you? Thank you!

Enjoyed this quote in a report today 😂: Westminster is mentioned in an Early Medieval charter that references a grant of land to “St Peter and the needy people of God in the terrible place which is called Westminster” (Weinrebb & Hibbert 2008, 1004).

. Thames Water 💧 are not providing useful updates about the impact of the burst water mains in Belsize Road, affecting thousands of households. Please RT if you think their updates are inadequate and phone them on 0800 316 9800 to register for their text update service. 1/2

⚠️ We are aware that the earlier burst water main in Camden is having a knock on effect on water supplies in parts of #Westminster. We're working closely with Thames Water 💧, and will share updates on our social channels and our website: westminster.gov.uk

Dr Victoria Donnelly (@vadarcho) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Btw, the Thames Water 💧 website does not allow you to report ‘no water’ as a problem on its website. You have to call them to report it. Clicking on the map just takes to you to an advice page and doesn’t submit a report.

#NW6 #NW1 #NW2 #NW8 #NW10 #W2 #W8 #W9 #W10 We’ve been pumping water back into the network and pressure is returning. Many customers should start to see their supply returning this evening or overnight. Full update at thameswater.co.uk/latest

Here is how #platforms die: first, they are good to their users; then they abuse their users to make things better for their business customers; finally, they abuse those business customers to claw back all the value for themselves. Then, they die. 1/

This is why - as @CatValente wrote in her magesterial essay - platforms like #Prodigy transformed overnight, from a place where you went for social connection to a place where you were expected to "stop talking to each other and start buying things": catvalente.substack.com/p/stop-talking… 20/
