Replacements for doctors are not “integral” to the NHS, they are profoundly detrimental to the NHS.

How have we ended up in a situation where 1000s of qualified doctors trying to get GP posts can’t get a job, while PAs, fully funded through ARRS, are walking into GP jobs and seeing undifferentiated patients?

Just in case anyone’s wondering why the NHS has gone down the drain; politicians are destroying it, so that it still exists in name, but becomes a terrible system which you’d only use as a last resort. Meanwhile, they’re massively expanding the private sector.
