No surprise here, a PE admin telling you not to be concerned about PE. ๐Ÿค”

Quick thoughts:
#1. Minority ownership (he quoted 33% in RP) = no ownership.
#2. PE is a (major) player in and, with insurance+healthcare corps, = 74% of employed physicians in the US.

Ben Bowman, Governor Tina Kotek companies like United DeathCare don't care about the patient. They care about the bottomline. This opens the discussion of why corporations like UnitedHealthcare encourage nurses to care for our elderly. The CPoM eliminates physician led care. We deserve better.

Well, well ... Looks like Sen Bowman struck a nerve with his CPoM bill in OR. The swift and massive response by PE should be the only message that legislators need to understand why THIS BILL MUST PASS. Let's go OR - set the stage for the rest of us!

Thank you for your advocacy, Dr. Glaucomflecken! OR is leading the way with this bill. We need this bill to pass, then we need other states to follow.

Ben Bowman, Governor Tina Kotek We know where PE has its hands patients suffer. The current CPoM is literally harming patients both in hospitals and nursing facilities. It puts profits before patients. Patients deserve better and that patient could be you any day.

- Industry is says that Oregon HB 4130 introduced by Ben Bowman undermines 'traditional' physician practice structures, like where non-physicians corporations like , put profits over patients & ctrl physicians, & deny care. End

We need more of this kind of legislation around the country. Private equity has no place in healthcare decisions
