We are excited for Classical Pride at Barbican Centre with @GayTimes and ViiV Healthcare.

The five day festival includes a drag competition with @MonetXChange and Thorgy thor as well as a finale with nick grimshaw.

Hundreds of children were orphaned by the scandal in which British haemophiliacs were given blood products contaminated with HIV and other diseases.

They have never been compensated for the tragedy that in many cases ruined their lives

Almost half (46%) of people living with HIV have experienced stigma while accessing social care. Three quarters (76%) are anxious about having to access it in the future.

Today the Minister told me he wants to “reclaim the trust of the infected blood community”.

For the Government to do this, they need to give clear and timetabled commitments for paying compensation without delay.

Thank you Emma Lewell-Buck MP for supporting the #InfectedBlood community.

It is vital that the government put in law a timetable for delivering compensation to victims of the #ContaminatedBlood scandal.

Took the plunge and signed up for the Marathon next year supporting Terrence Higgins Trust

April 23rd marks 40 years since scientists discovered that HIV causes AIDs – and now, the UK could be just a few more years away from stopping transmission altogether.

That is the hope of leading gay rights activist Jonathan Blake and the Terrence Higgins Trust (Terrence Higgins Trust).

Today I asked the Government for clarity on when victims of the Infected Blood Scandal will receive compensation and how they can apply for it.
