It was great visiting North East Fife-based Growers Garden today and catching up! They make vegetable chips out of wonky veg🥦I was even lucky enough to get to try some of their new upcoming flavours - delicious!

Tomorrow, the Carer’s Leave Bill introduced by Wendy Chamberlain MP comes into force. This bill will allow employees who are carers to take up to a week of unpaid leave every 12 months.

As the Chair of the APPG_AfghanWomenandGirls I am deeply concerned about reports that repatriations will restart from Pakistan; particularly when people are still waiting for our resettlement schemes to fully open.

I have called on Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office to step in as a matter of urgency.

Unpaid carers like Sue from Bampton put in round-the-clock care for their loved ones, and underpin the NHS. I'm pleased that Wendy Chamberlain MP's Carer's Leave Act will come into force this week, giving unpaid carers the right to five days' leave from their job per year.

.@Libdems have called for a presumption of denial to arms to Israel since 2021. Applies to any country on the FCDO High Priority Human Rights list. Our Government should be ashamed that it continues to sell arms in these circumstances.
