An elegant and cherubic #FontsOnFriday decked with roses from the Clara Kyrka in #Stockholm . Meanwhile in the background, there appears to be a bit of angelic wardrobe disfunction...
For #WindowsOnWednesday , more #stainedglass from Oscarskyrkan, #Stockholm , by Emanuel Vigeland, 1921-3 showing the creation of Adam, eating the fruit of knowledge, Jacob wrestling the angel, and Abraham's sacrifice, fabulous work!
For #TraceryTuesday , a secular rose from the #Victorian Hall in Dorset Museum & Art Gallery, in Dorchester, #Dorset , part of the building by G R Crickmay, 1881-3. Does anyone know who did the glazing, and when?
Oh no! Very sad news - is there a #museum in or near #Selkirk that could take them on? Do
Stained Glass Museum, National Museums Scotland, National Galleries of Scotland, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
have this sale on their radars? #ArtsandCrafts #stainedglass
Tell a lie - I did photograph some white campion #pinkfamily amid the buttercups and salad burnet outside ecotricity this morning - first white of the year. So, in #Stroud town, I saw my first dog rose of the year, viper's bugloss and yellow flag iris #wildflowerhour
Drama for #SundaySermons ar Storkyrkan, #Stockholm . Lovely gothic vaulting, and then, badda bling! #Baroque ! No way you could have an off day sermonising in this pulpit...
An #AnytimeAngel for #StainedGlassSunday from Lewknor, #Oxfordshire by #WilliamMorris for Morris & Co., 1876 - intent on getting the cymbal in the right place, like me with the woodblock at school...
Museum & Art Swindon’s ‘La Nature Morte’ by William Roberts and Edward Alexander Wadsworth’s, ‘Bright Intervals’ are on display at Pallant House Gallery
from today!
#TheShapeofThings showcases over 150 artworks by more than 100 artists!

One that got away - the Ridderholmen church in #Stockholm was very firmly closed to me - even though a door was open, no peeking was allowed. Anyway, a lacy cast iron spire for #SteepleSaturday dates from 1970, replacing the rusty C19th one by Eric Gustav Gothe.
A rather delicate #FontsOnFriday from the Hedvig Eleonora church in #Stockholm , presumably dating from the early C18th, the church begun in the late C17th, and consecrated in 1737. Is it made of granite? Love the tulips around the bowl - bit late for tulipomania?
For #Woodensday , a charming golden-haired #AnytimeAngel from St Stephen, #Stockholm by Carl Miller, from 1904. A strangely English church that reminded me strongly of W D Caröe's work - abd quite #ArtsandCrafts , too.
For #TextileTuesday , the glorious altar cloth by designed by Roger Wagner in 2018 at Iffley, #Oxfordshire . The whole cloth represents the light of the resurrection, and as we went post-Easter, we saw it with the golden cross - there are different ones for the liturgical seasons.
