Thank you Gary Fields, William King, Allen Martin, @MrsMarcumBGISD, & @KSticeBrooks for joining our Virtual Gallery Walk of student created European Explorers My Maps. Students appreciated the opportunity to shine as they justified answers to their inquiry questions.
#rockstar Allen Martin will be missed, but we're in great hands w/ #techguru @MrsMarcumBGISD. She used Pear Deck Learning & Edpuzzle to enhance learning of Colonial America. Gary Fields is committed to provide experts for teachers & students to excel. #excellenceisworththeeffort
Congratulations to Hannah Ogden for joining the exemplary group of #NBCTstrong educators. She is an outstanding educator impacting the lives of so many children each day. Hannah is so deserving!
I wish I could take credit for these impressive students, but parents like Katina Miner raised them to be high achievers and to always excel. Just give students the tools and watch them soar! #excellenceisworththeeffort
From Massachusetts to Georgia, W R. McNeill Elementary fifth grade students created and participated in Virtual Reality Google Expedition Field Trips, visiting points of interest important to government and the economy in Colonial times.

The highlight of #MyNTIKy week as an educator was seeing the smiling faces of these sweet W R. McNeill Elementary. I listened to their adventures about digital learning, helped answer questions, and saw them cuddle with their pets. It doesn't get any better than that!
Their competitive nature came out during our #kahoot game. We had lots of cheering and even a little smack talk. #MYNTIKY week included lots of laughs and a happy heart because of these amazing W R. McNeill Elementary!
Abby Phillips, coordinator of Junior Achievement, hosted a lesson for 5th grade W R. McNeill Elementary students about workplace soft skills. Bowling Green Independent Schools students are still striving for excellence during #MYNTIKY. A Kahoot! game after the lesson was the cherry on top! #BetterTogether
Former W R. McNeill Elementary Samuel Chang shared a presentation with our 5th graders via Google Meet to help them prepare for the transition to Bowling Green Jr. High School in the fall. These amazing students are now prepared to continue excelling in Bowling Green Independent Schools!
