☀️ The sun is finally shining, and this morning we headed out of Pwllheli for some #BRUVS surveys! 🦈

The last one is pulled in.. in total 18 #BRUVS were deployed today.. time to head back and re-charge for tomorrow 🙌🏼

Great to see our paper published this week in @thefsbi describing northerly range expansion and the first records of the smalltooth sand tiger shark in UK and Ireland. Many thanks to Dan Snow and everyone else who helped us recover and examine the two UK stranded sharks!

After a slow start to the day, we successfully tagged 4 female tope sharks. Looking forward to seeing what these amazing animals get up to over the next year. Back in a couple of weeks to hopefully tag some more! SIARC #TopeSIARCProject
