Today, I spoke in Alice Macdonald MP's debate on the impact of conflict on women and girls. The UK needs to hold the governments & militias who disrupt education to account. Educated women and girls play a key role in peacebuilding and governance which cannot be overlooked.

Labour is getting our NHS back on its feet. Enfield Council is playing its part as well – by providing high quality care, promoting public health and working with our partners to do everything we can to drive this national mission forward.

Really informative event hosted by National Autistic Society today to celebrate the launch of their new report, #AConstantFight. Autistic people suffer some of the greatest inequalities across health & social care, education, employment and mental health. Society must work for autistic people.

Great to have Bambos Charalambous Peray Ahmet and Tim Leaver to speak at our local meeting this evening - showing the great work Labour is doing in government nationally and locally in Enfield and Haringey Delivering new social homes and improving social care 💪💪

Today, I spoke up for #Enfield and #Haringey in the Local Government Finances in London debate. Damping council funds is plain wrong. Enfield and Haringey deserve the right funding to provide good services for local residents.

As the nation falls silent at midday, my thoughts are with all those who fought to defend our freedom and values, both on the frontline and at home. Today and always, we thank them for their service.
