ECEC services & their staff are being failed massively by @dcediy. The great plan of ERO and core funding has become a tokenistic tool for the Early years sector offers of 65cent to staff and €20/€30 a wk to services is not going to retain staff or services. AIM & AIM PLUS are gov scheme for support staff but Early Year Providers are being left to fund it! Almost Xmas & so many children not approved, yet we are expected to pay wages until @dcediy get act together. Soon Services will not be able to take children with Additional needs!
