This is a Budget for Benefits Street & you’re going to be paying for it! Reeves has broken her promises and hiked taxes by another £26 billion. All to fund more welfare and keep Labour MPs off her back. No one will trust her again.

I still can’t get over how great Conservative Kemi Badenoch was today. She ripped apart Keir Starmer at #PMQs, who was left stuttering and unable to answer her questions. Then she tore to shreds the budget and Rachel Reeves’s incompetence. A clinical and brilliant performance.

I warned before the 2024 election that Labour would “tax your home, your job, your car and your pension”. This budget has proved every word to be true!
