When seeking money and indifferent to life, it is rational for capitalists to be indifferent to a 0.083% killing rate.

When the killing rate is 50% per year, highly irrational.

There will be a draconian mobilization like you have never seen.

I'd still like an answer on why they decided to target some of the most vulnerable people months after making a huge announcement about how their funding of this program is proof they're taking affordability seriously. And what's next on the chopping block?

I hope this is true. But it brings back my core criticism of this government. They don’t care or think much about actual governing. They are focused only on the fight they want to have on any given day, not on the impact on real people.

At least this horrible decision was reversed.
But honestly, anyone else exhausted by the daily poorly thought out policy announcements?
... maybe that is the point.

UCP plan seems obvious at this point. Defund cities to increase misery, blame it on the councils, restrict their ability to take recourse, tell voters that parties will fix everything, and if that fails, give yourself the power to remove councillors and revoke bylaws. #yeg #ableg

Primary care coupled w/ population & public health are the foundational elements of our health care system. Stripping down AHS before having that foundation set sounds like a recipe for collapse to me.
