I agree with this. During the last leadership contest I asked the President of the party to intervene when Kate was being attacked. He declined. Now that the party is without a president, somebody close to the top needs to step in.

The level of influence that #Israel exerts in the United States is impressive. An indication of this influence is how Israel is behind the strong police repression against students at American universities who protest the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
