Minutes silence NHS East Berkshire CCG NHS England Datchet Health Centre staff stood in the rain at 11am to mark a minutes silence for everyone affected by COVID19 particularly colleagues and families #NHSheroes 🙏

As doctors we were very Concerned about South Korean reports that patients were getting COVID more than once - great news is that expert analysis shows these were false positives! We should all be greatly reassured by this fabulous news

Things seemed bleak six weeks ago, but there was always a light at the end of the tunnel. The situation will continue to improve. If we all show some common sense, life will feel so much more normal by the end of June. Hope is still the best motivator!

We're more in control of this virus than many think. It's sad to see people paralysed with fear and so negative about the future. We'll adapt, we always do. Keep your head up, things already feel a lot more normal - if we're all sensible, it will continue to improve.

Slovenia has become the first European country to officially call an end to its Coronavirus epidemic. They started easing the lockdown on April 20 and there are absolutely no signs of a second peak. Great news - they should give us all hope that it can be done.

On the whole, I think the public has been remarkable throughout all of this. Many seem to suggest 100% of people in other countries are following the rules - of course they aren't! It's the same everywhere. It's too easy to focus on the few who are breaking the rules.
