Not the usual headline figures but NHS England reported 352 fatalities today. It was 587 last Friday - these numbers are dropping quite dramatically. There is no question we are through the worst of it- encouraging signs in the data everywhere you look.

A study from Cambridge has shown people in the UK are more scared than in any other country. This relentless culture of fear has to end - it's dangerous. People know the risks of Coronavirus. A country paralysed by fear raises lots of new dangers.

The Government can only do so much. There are over 66 million people in the UK. We all need to look at the guidelines and work out what is best for our family. People I speak to seem to understand that. The next phase can't work without personal responsibility and common sense.

The best measure to deal with this pandemic is isolating people who have the virus. If you have symptoms, please isolate and then get tested. Going about your daily business while showing symptoms is so dangerous and quite frankly, extremely selfish.

Interesting to read Government scientists estimate the average chance of catching the virus has dropped from 1 in 40 to 1 in 1,000. A big difference. Keeping distance, maintaining good hand hygiene and following the rules are crucial to keeping these odds low.

113 reported fatalities today and new infections back below 2000. As always, it's important to look at the trends. 118 170 269 315 420 498 686 644 on previous Sundays. Lowest fatality number since 23/03 - we are making progress.
