One of the greatest moments of my life was meeting American hero Rep. John Lewis last summer. Sadly, he passed away at the age of 80 yesterday. His legacy includes the Freedom Rides, March on Washington, and Selma Marches. May he Rest In Peace.

We were able to meet up with HHS APUSH scholar and alumni ⁦bailey⁩ for a wonderful dinner in the Upper East Side. Bailey has gone from HHS to U of M to NYC living the dream as a 22 year old. So proud and impressed by her amazing story! What an inspiration!

Tomorrow begins the Dave VanNoord Presidential Elimination Tournament! This year marks the 23rd year of the beloved HHS APUSH tradition. 113 students across 5 classes will be competing to be recognized as the ultimate Presidential Scholar and have their One Shining Moment!

For the 1st time in the 20 year history of BeemerBall, the ball stayed on the ledge after a made basket. I lost it! Unfortunately it was my shot while explaining the rules. But, it can happen! One shining moment!

Last night, I had the privilege of hosting the 2021 APUSH review night with the beloved Mr. Ray, for the 1st time since 2019. Over 40 APUSH Scholars getting ready for the Arena, er, Exam, on Friday! They will be ready! #APUSH
