Today, Mashinani Empowerment Strategic Initiative and Tambua Social Justice Centre were privileged to host Josep Recasens, a Spanish national who's enthusiastic about pursuing environmental justice. Top on discussion were issues surrounding the social and environmental injustices and their possible mitigation measures.

In attendance at the environmental conversation today were Cde Josep Recasens, and environmental injustices researcher at University of Nairobi, Cde Margaret Ahona of Jiinue Self Help Group, the entire leadership of Mashinani Empowerment Strategic Initiative and Tambua Social Justice Centre , @EzavaRiver CEO and several other members.

This past weekend, despite the rains, our community showed up in great numbers for a powerful dialogue on climate change & alternative livelihoods! Together, we discussed sustainable solutions & installed two new beehives at our growing apiary 🐝 A big THANK YOU to everyone!
