Today, Deputy FM Robert Kupiecki spoke with a group of advisors to American congressmen visiting Poland 🇵🇱. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the need for urgent support for Ukraine 🇺🇦 in its fight against Russian aggression and the ongoing 🇵🇱🇺🇸 cooperation.

Program underway! This group of 🇺🇸 congressional staffers just began a study visit to 🇵🇱, organized by us & Ministry of Foreign Affairs 🇵🇱. They'll dive into 🇵🇱 security, defense & economic policies, meet with key officials, & visit 🇺🇸 soldiers stationed in 🇵🇱. The program started at Muzeum POLIN.

An engaging discussion focused on the ever-stronger 🇵🇱🇺🇸 alliance and prospects for our security, defense, and energy cooperation during these challenging times.

Also today, 🇺🇸 congressional staffers met with Google Polska for an insightful discussion on the American business presence in Poland and the critical importance of countering disinformation about Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Deputy FM Robert Kupiecki met today in Warsaw with a remarkable group of 🇺🇸 Congressional Staffers, including several chiefs of staff, on a study visit to Poland. They discussed 🇵🇱🇺🇸 relations, including security, defence and energy cooperation, as well as support for Ukraine 🇺🇦.

The group of U.S. congressional staffers met also with Wojciech Gerwel, an advisor to 🇵🇱 President Andrzej Duda. The discussion focused on the strategy of Polish-U.S. and broader transatlantic relations, with a particular emphasis on economic and security issues.

On the 3rd day of the study visit to 🇵🇱, 🇺🇸congressional staffers met with the Polish Center for International Aid at their Education Center, where 🇺🇦 refugee children can continue their education within the Ukrainian system. The study visit is organized by us and Ministry of Foreign Affairs 🇵🇱.

The day continued at the Polish Parliament Sejm RP🇵🇱, where the 🇺🇸 congressional staffers met with the representatives of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the 🇵🇱🇺🇸 Parliamentary Group to discuss support for Ukraine and Poland's increasing defense spending.

Russian politics, sanctions, NATO defense strategy, support for Ukraine, and...the future—everything was covered.

We hosted a delegation of advisors to US Congress members. The meeting, initiated by Embassy of Poland U.S., was an opportunity to present progress on Poland’s first nuclear power plant construction program and discuss Polish-American cooperation in this project, crucial for our energy

It was a privilege to brief staff of US🇺🇸 Congress on how Polish NGOs assist #Ukraine refugees and on operation on Medical Evacuation Hub in #Poland, funded by the EU🇪🇺 The visitors witnessed preparations for medical evacuation of sick and wounded Ukrainian🇺🇦 patients to Sweden🇸🇪

The last 2 days in Poland, the group of 🇺🇸 congressional staffers spent in: ✅ Powidz: the Army Prepositioned Stocks-2, ✅ Biedrusko: Abrams Tank Training Academy ✅ Poznań: Camp Kościuszko - the US V Corps' Forward Operating Station. 🇵🇱🤝🇺🇸
