From interpersonal relations to excellent intergovernmental cooperation - despite their different geographical location, 🇵🇱 and 🇮🇪 look at many issues eye to eye. ☘️

FM Radosław Sikorski 🇵🇱🇪🇺 held a 📞 conversation with FM of🇲🇩 Mihai Popșoi.

Among other things, the ministers discussed:

✔️ situation in the regions of Central and Eastern Europe
✔️ the Euro-Atlantic direction of Moldovan foreign policy
✔️ intensification of dialogue and cooperation

The 15th round of 🇵🇱🇺🇸 Strategic Dialogue took place in Washington. The event was opened by Deputy FM Robert Kupiecki and his counterpart Derek Chollet.

The talks covered defense and security cooperation, support for 🇺🇦, and the upcoming NATO summit.

💬 It’s a very serious decision, of which all conditions should be discussed, first in the Council of Ministers. Let me remind you that according to Article 146 of the Constitution, it’s the CoM that conducts 🇵🇱 foreign policy.

Poland 🇵🇱 warmly welcomes the agreement between Armenia 🇦🇲 and Azerbaijan 🇦🇿, bringing both sides closer to border delimitation and achieving lasting peace based on international law and mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity.

FM Radosław Sikorski 🇵🇱🇪🇺 met with FM of 🇸🇦 فيصل بن فرحان and Minister of State at the 🇦🇪 MFA Reem Al Hashimi.

The prospects for further development of bilateral relations and issues related to the current international situation were discussed in both conversations.

Deputy FM Marek Prawda met with Permanent Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs at the MFA of 🇩🇰 Jeppe Tranholm-Mikkelsen.

During the meeting, they discussed:

✅ migration policy
✅ international community's assistance to 🇺🇦

During the visit to Luxembourg for the Foreign Affairs Council 🇪🇺 #FAC , FM Radosław Sikorski 🇵🇱🇪🇺 met with the European Chief Prosecutor Laura Codruța Kövesi.

The prospects for cooperation within the framework of the #EPPO were the subject of the conversation.

Today, FM Radosław Sikorski 🇵🇱🇪🇺 participates in a meeting of the 🇪🇺 Foreign Affairs Council #FAC in Luxembourg.

Discussions will focus on the European Union's continued support for Ukraine 🇺🇦 and Sudan 🇸🇩 as well as its actions in the face of the Middle East conflict.

The news that the House of Representatives has adopted an aid package for 🇺🇦 is long-awaited good news and a success for all those who advocated for it.

This vital support will enable 🇺🇦 to defend effectively and gives hope that the Russian aggressor will not achieve its goals.

Today, Deputy FM Marek Prawda met with the President of the German Institute for Polish Affairs Heiko Maas.

An important point of the discussion was the German-Polish House project 🇩🇪🇵🇱 in Berlin and the cooperation within the Weimar Triangle.

The success of Polish and Lithuanian law enforcement services in catching the suspects of the brutal attack in Vilnius on Leonid Volkov, the aide to Alexei Navalny, is clear evidence of 🇵🇱🇱🇹 professionalism in support of the Russian civil society.

FM Radosław Sikorski 🇵🇱🇪🇺 met today with the Director of the #OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Matteo Mecacci.

During the meeting, the head of 🇵🇱 diplomacy emphasized the leading role of OSCE/ODIHR in protecting human rights and promoting the rule of law.

The main topics of today's discussion between FM Radosław Sikorski 🇵🇱🇪🇺 and the Prime Minister of Andorra 🇦🇩 Xavier Espot Zamora were bilateral relations, negotiations with the #EU 🇪🇺 on the Association Agreement, as well as support for 🇺🇦 in the face of Russian aggression.

Minister Sikorski thanked the Egyptian side for its assistance in transporting the body of WCK volunteer Damian Sobol.

MFA condemns the barbaric Russian attack on the town of Chernihiv 🇺🇦, which resulted in the loss of a dozen civilian lives and dozens of injured.

We call on Russia to immediately stop its actions that violate human rights and breach international conventions.
