Ember's is working on an experimental mouse model where they administer doxycycline and monoclonal antibodies. Then look for persisters.

What Embers has found is that patients who go on to develop PTLDS have very poor initial anti-body responses. Aucott's research shows that a strong B-cell response is predictive of PTLDS.

Currently the world famous cardiologist Dr. Adrian Baranchuk MD FACC FRCPC FCCS FSIAC
reviewing Lyme carditis. Says we do not know the actual prevalence of Lyme carditis, Lyme pt's seen in ER should have an ECG, treatment with 1 week of antibiotics is NOT enough, and we NEED more awareness & more education!

This is so true. Chronic illnesses almost always have multiple triggers.
