IT'S HERE! ROCKET HAS LANDED! We had to use a low loading vehicle to fit our precious cargo under the tunnel, just like we did with Tim Peake's Spacecraft. As far as we're concerned, this lorry is Santa's sleigh.

We are saddened by the news of the death of Sir William McAlpine. A true Railway enthusiast and his name will be forever synonymous with the rescue of #FlyingScotsman in 1973 and the establishment of the RailwayHeritageTrust. We send our condolences to his family and friends.
