Proud to attend the formal opening of our newest set of theatres and EPOC unit at City Campus Nottingham University Hospitals NUHTheatres NUH Surgery with Nottinghamshire’s own Robin Hood. 500 operations already undertaken, 125 via robot, all helping reduce our waits for elective surgery.

Today I was honoured cut the ribbon and officially declare Nottingham City Hospital's new 'Robin Hood Suite' open. I got to see their state-of-the-art robotic surgery equipment and tour their amazing new facilities too - real-life heroes looking after those in need; many thanks!

Lots of celebrations on Jubilee! We had a fantastic ACE inspection where we shared what we’ve achieved since opening. Today we celebrated the official opening of the Robin Hood theatres and Jubilee unit. Fab to see the benefit the new units will have for our colorectal patients

‘Dr Hennig’. I was his first reg back in 2008. Since 2019 Ivo & I have shared our clinics and I couldn’t have asked for a better colleague or mentor. He’s the doctor we all want to be. Today we said goodbye as he is moving to the NW. My work life won’t be the same without him.
