In states that funded #childcare , the share of mothers who reported wanting to work but not being able to work due to child care limitations decreased by nearly 14 percentage points. There was no significant decrease in states that did not provide additional child care funding.
We condemn the Israeli cabinet’s decision to shut down Al-Jazeera’s operations in Israel and warn that the vote could set a dangerous precedent for other international media outlets working in Israel.
